Our First Retreat - The Keowee five

FUNNY HOW GOD CHOOSES THE RIGHT PEOPLE AT THE RIGHT TIME FOR THE RIGHT ENCOUNTER WITH HIM.

Our first small retreat was a group of five women. These five who we now call "The Keowee Five" immediately accepted the invitation to spend a weekend encounter to learn more about the heart's physical design, God's Word on the heart, and His ability to purify our hearts. Of course there was the lure of a beautiful home to stay in on gorgeous Lake Keowee, thanks to bighearted Chrissy! These women actively participated in over 10 hours of exercises and teaching. The heart-to-heart bond to God was fused greater, and our bond together was fused as well.  Interested in the next retreat August 15 in Blue Ridge, Georgia? Open, Healthy, and In a Relationship With Him

Hearts Designed By God

The heart is mentioned over 1000 times in the bible.  Why does God care so much about our heart?  Because it is the inner man.  Very little in the bible is about the physical heart, but keeping the spiritual heart vibrant reduces the stress on the physical heart.

God says to the wayward Israelites, "I was there when I delivered you...and your first cry out was to me." Those words spoke to me and I envisioned God there when I was born.  Our eyes met and my first cry out was to Him. He put His hand on my racing little baby heart because He knew the plans and path He had for me.

When we ask God to remove the debris life has pounded on our hearts, He shows up.  If I can help your group in any way, with a speaking engagement, or a retreat, please let me know.  We will walk through the physical heart and draw the parallels that relate to the physical/spiritual journey.  God has put this on my heart to help yours.

Our hearts take a beating through life but they were designed for longevity.  Learn what you can do to keep your heart open and vibrant.
